The mirror is not treated as a tool of self-knowledge. Instead, it becomes an environment of uncertainty in which familiar foundations of self-identification lose their reliability. The subject is confronted with the impossibility of defining the boundary between self and reflection, between presence and image, between memory and reality
My interest lies not in finding an answer but in examining the state of remaining within this uncertainty — a moment in which questions of primacy, ownership of the image, and the right to call oneself remain unresolved
