WHY I PHOTOGRAPH
I have always been interested in observing real life — its states, relationships and time
I can spend hours watching a sunset or sunrise, a riverbank or the sea, historical places — traces of what once happened to people
For me, this is real life: its states, relationships and time
At some point, I realised that all of this could be captured through photography
And I could no longer simply walk past it
WHAT I LOOK AT
It can be a person, a landscape, an object, a gesture, a place, or a trace left by someone who was here before us
I do not see these as separate subjects. To me, they are different forms of the same reality
HOW A WORK BEGINS
A photograph rarely begins with the photograph itself
It begins with something that catches my attention — a state, a form, a relationship, a fragment of space, or simply the feeling that something is worth looking at a little longer
I do not always know where it will lead
Sometimes the first observation becomes a photograph. Sometimes it leads to a question, an experiment, or a new way of working
COLLABORATION
Alongside my personal photographic research, I accept a limited number of projects
Each project is approached individually, through dialogue, observation and a shared process of discovery
I am interested in projects where photography can become more than a conventional session — where a person, a presence, a form, or a particular moment in life becomes the starting point for a photographic work
